The upcoming reunion of The Call — featuring the band’s original members plus Robert Levon Been of Black Rebel Motorcycle Club filling in for his late father Michael Been — will be filmed and recorded for a live DVD, CD and vinyl release, and the band has just launched a Pledge Music campaign to help fund the project.

And, if all goes well and fans show interest, the band’s members say they hope to expand the campaign once the live album is finished to help pay for “a Call box set and remastered catalog with assorted goodies like unreleased tracks and such.” Right now, fans can pledge anywhere from $15 for a digital download of the planned live album up to $3,000 for “brunch with the original members of The Call.” Various price points in between cover CD, DVD and vinyl releases of the live set, with various added bonus features depending on the level of giving. Original members Scott Musick, Tom Ferrier and Jim Goodwin will be joined by Robert Levon Been on bass and vocals at concerts on April 18 and 19 in San Francisco and Los Angeles.
