The first time i seen this band was about 6 years ago in the ambassador good gig then at oxegen a few years ago missed them at oxegen just gone. they were excellent the accoustic set was cool, whats great about B.R.M.C is that they are one of the only bands around that are ALL about the music.

This really was the best gig of my life, just amazing!! They also filmed the show for a live DVD

They Played:

Berlin
Weapon Of Choice
Stop
Rise Or Fall
All You Do Is Talk
666 Conducer
Aint No Easy Way
Spread Your Love
Red Eyes & Tears
Feel It Now
Complicated Situation (Peter)
Faultline (Peter)
Lonesome Death Of Hattie Carrol (Rob)
Dirty Old Town (Rob)
Windows
Need Some Air
As Sure As The Sun
American X
Six Barrel Shotgun
Whatever Happened To Rock n Roll

Took Out A Loan
Love Burns
The Shows About To Begin
Heart + Soul

U2 had left them bottles of champagne backstage as an apology for not being able to make the show. So halfway through the gig Peter starts passing the bottles out among the crowd!! Also Rob played Dirty Old Town, a classic Irish song. Then they finished with my favourite BRMC song Heart + Soul, with Rob in the crowd at the end, finishing off a really special night. Cant wait for the DVD.

This was a great gig to finish out the year for me. A 2+ hour set, the longest Ive seen the band do yet and it was worth making the effort to travel up for. I was unaware of the departure of Spike so it was a pity not to see him, regardless the boys still are a killer live band as a three piece.
Highlights of the gig were Rob climbing the Amps, Took Out a Loan, Rob playing some of American X right in front of my face, Peter handing out champagne, of which I was disappointed not to be near where it was given out. It would be cool to say that I had a drink of champagne courtesy of Bono.
Its been a while since my ears rang so much from a gig. I cant wait for the DVD.

It was just an unbelieveable gig from an incredible band! It was my third time seeing them and every time they get better! They just have this raw intensity about them thats amazing to witness. So many highlights, the awesome version of 666 conducer, the passion of American X and the beauty of Mercy, to name but a few!
