Support this night came from a band named "Cuchillos", which consisted of only two guys whose music was somewhere between tranquillo kinda chill music and psychedelic, don't know how to better put it into words, but it was innovative and pleasing.
I've had fun at the show, but I liked the one the following night much better than this - I mean, I've never yet seen a BAD show from BRMC - and I don't think it realistic that I ever will - but while this concert was great, the one in Madrid was mind-blowing.
What I liked best this night was "White Palms" - Robert sang John Lennon's "I don't wanna be a soldier" to the beat; I've heard him do this before, but I don't exactly remember where (maybe in Berlin?) - "Heart & Soul", "American X" (always) and "Six Barrel Shotgun" (again).
I thought the venue was rather pretty, but the bars closed with the last chord and everybody was basically kicked out after they picked up their coats.
No matter, I went to a bar across the road with two Spanish guys who had landed in the Apolo by chance and had just witnessed their very first BRMC show. I well remember my feelings after my first show and I figuratively bathed in the glow that surrounded them - they were completely stunned - kinda like you watch a person in joyous anticipation who's reading one of your favourite books for the first time. It was awesome. We had a couple of beers together and talked about music we liked; I actually played them a track from the Warlocks, which they loved - little did I know that I would see them live the very next night. :D

Uno de los mejores conciertos del año en Barcelona.

Desde la primera a la última canción la intensidad del concierto fue increíble. Además la sala Apolo invitaba a disfrutar del espectáculo, un lugar pequeño, sin aglomeraciones y de buena acústica. ¿qué más se puede pedir?.

One of the best shows of this year in Barcelona.

after i had knew this band in the movie 9songs, i've been really atached to their music. About the concert, the best, really deep sounds, amazing game of voices and the show AWESOME....!!
