So my friend and I - who had never heard BRMC - get to the show early enough to get right up front for BRMC. We positioned ourselves right in front of where Robert would be standing. As soon as they hit the stage, I held up a sign that read "HAPPY 30th BIRTHDAY ROB BEEN". I would periodically hold it up until finally Robert gave me a smirk. It was weird during their set because I felt like I was the only person down in the pit who is a fan of theirs. I think maybe a dozen people asked me who they are. A guy standing next to me turned to me and asked if I was getting tired of people asking me who they are. It was pretty obvious I was there for the Rebels, since it seems like I was the only person down there really getting in to their performance. And what a performance it was! Once they got the noise issues under control, they just soared. The Shows About To Begin just about knocked me to the floor! And I shook my ass off during Spread Your Love. Damn I love this band more and more every time I see them! They definitely made some new fans tonight, including the friend who went with me.

I can't recall the exact order, and I may be omitting one or two, but here's what I remember:

As for STP, they were no shows. We were fed some line about how they were stuck in Ft Lauderdale due to inclement weather. What a load of crap! All the bad weather is in north Florida. A lot of people were very pissed - for good reason.

I wont talk about the STP no Show But I was front and center against the guard rail for them and honestly had never heard of you guys, but when I saw semi hollow Gibsons and Vintage amps I knew good things were coming.
