well, I'm not the one that writes setlists, but as far as i remember..it began with pete came on stage, gave a big "thank you to the guys who came from around the globe and across the country"..then he started (slicked hair, girls:-) with *complicated situation*, followed by *devil's waitin'*.
fabulous show, i leave the description to the others, i only can say i loved the place, great cozy venue, good sound, and it all ended up with *american x* and the "fire marshal" - who cleared up the venue within 10 minutes, maybe because there were (a 20) too many people. in my opinion it wasn't even stuffed with people.
...
if you read those 3 songs i mentioned above, then you have a clue how this was to us - is this america?!?
great speech though that pete did from stage in direction to "Mr. fire marshal, please come up on stage and we'll manage the problem, whatever that is.."
awesome show, guys, thank you so much!

i miss pete's edward scissor hands hair.

wow is all i can say about this show. thankfully it wasnt raining and my shoes/socks were dry. this was my first time at safari sams and i like the place but they could do better with keeping folks off the steps near the tables.

this show was the best i've seen them perform, they seemed to really enjoy themselves and talked more than i've seen in the past. actually both shows are kinda one in my mind b/c i keep mixing up the what was played where and who did what. i remember rob saying no to someone when asked to play one of the dylan songs. he said no one really knew the words and it would be or was just a babble of drunken mess (this may have happened at key club?).

anyway, i met a bunch of great people at both shows and missed out on meeting orlando bloom (at least that's what the people at my table said). whoever called the fire marshall shame on you. i really wanted to hear visions. i cant imagine what the night would've been like with the encore and after party, but there's always the next end of tour show :-)

the opening band was interesing. i thought the lead singer went a bit overboard at times with his guitar, but other than that i enjoyed them too. a few people got a good chuckle out of the lead singers high pitched screams and squeals lol.

my money was well spent :-)
